Review: JVC Everio GZ-HM340 camcorder: 16GB storage & time lapse mode

JVC has sidelined her last video camera, with the new Everio GZ-HM340 expected to arrive later, in January of $ 499.95. Packing, both 16 GB of storage capacity and a SD / SDHC, the HM340 has a 20x optical zoom, 1/5.8-inch CMOS 1.37 megapixels and a new image stabilization system.

There is also a time lapse recording mode – with options ranging from every second to every 80 seconds – along with auto-registration, which begins shooting only when motion is detected. Furthermore, there is face detection and a preview system connected – Face miniature flow – which divides the time clip by the persons listed in each.

Introducing: Sanyo Xacti DMX-SH11 Ultra Slim Dual Camcorder

Sanyo is launching a new ultra thin dual camera, the Xacti DMX-SH11. This good-looking video recorder has a 3.5MP CMOS sensor and a wide angle of 35mm. The Xacti DMX-SH11 also offers a 30X “Advanced Zoom” function along with a video recording mode Full HD.

Some specifications include 16 GB of internal memory, and Eye-Fi card support SDXC, a mini HDMI port, “Sound Zoom” technology, a digital image stabilizer function and face hunter. The Sanyo Xacti DMX-SH11 will cost about $ 669.

Review: Panasonic Twin-lens Full HD 3D Camcorder

[CES 2010] With the popularity of the 3D version of “Avatar,” a lot of people are going to take more seriously now 3D movies, and Panasonic appears to be in a good position to capitalize on that, thanks to their twins recently announced – 3D Full HD camcorder lens. It sports two lenses (obviously) and two memory card slots, allowing you to capture 3D images at once, no problem all of doing it the traditional way.

Even better, the recording medium is SDHC memory cards, which helps to lower the cost. That said, the device itself is more than pocket change, as it goes for $ 21,000, however, is not so bad if you’re doing some big-budget movie, probably more than Joe can afford. The twin objectives 3D Full HD camcorder will be available in Q4 2010 and Panasonic is also working to release a 3D Full HD LCD for use in the field, and a digital mixer for live 3D broadcast shortly thereafter.
