Review: Panasonic Twin-lens Full HD 3D Camcorder

[CES 2010] With the popularity of the 3D version of “Avatar,” a lot of people are going to take more seriously now 3D movies, and Panasonic appears to be in a good position to capitalize on that, thanks to their twins recently announced – 3D Full HD camcorder lens. It sports two lenses (obviously) and two memory card slots, allowing you to capture 3D images at once, no problem all of doing it the traditional way.

Even better, the recording medium is SDHC memory cards, which helps to lower the cost. That said, the device itself is more than pocket change, as it goes for $ 21,000, however, is not so bad if you’re doing some big-budget movie, probably more than Joe can afford. The twin objectives 3D Full HD camcorder will be available in Q4 2010 and Panasonic is also working to release a 3D Full HD LCD for use in the field, and a digital mixer for live 3D broadcast shortly thereafter.
