Review: VIA EPIA-T700 is first 6×6cm Mobile-ITX ‘board

Remember VIA Mobile-ITX format 6 x 6 cm of the Board announced in December 2009? At that time the team-on-module of the system was more about proof of concept product production, that’s all changed with the VIA EPIA-T700, packing a particularly miniturized 1GHz VIA Eden ULV processor, 512MB of RAM, and VIA Chrome9 DX9 GPU.

There is also a partner company / OUT when the display flexibility of the drops T700 not, if on board LCD / CRT connection is sufficient. The T700 also has PCI Express and Ultra DMA integrated, but companies are expected to develop the proper custom carrier boards for specific installations compact.

VIA EPIA-count the T700 is a place in industry, education and car systems, but we estimate that there will be a few home users looking to end media PC. No information on how much - or the company I / O Board - will cost.
